Meet the Members: Open House

Want to know what being a member of the Birmingham Museum of Art is like? Join us on Thursday, August 20, from 5 to 7pm for a behind-the-scenes look at the BMA’s renowned Wedgwood collection, one of the largest in the world, second only to the official Wedgwood collection in England. 

This event series is typically reserved for Museum members, but we are opening it to the public. Come experience the perks of membership for yourself!

You will have the chance to meet Museum curators and staff, while examining our expansive collection of Wedgwood. The event will begin with a brief welcome from our new Membership Manager, Melanie Wright, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour with Dr. Anne Forschler-Tarrasch, Senior Curator and The Marguerite Jones Harbert and John M. Harbert III Curator of Decorative Arts.
