Mason Music Records to Introduce Its First Three Artists at September 27 Listening Party

Mason Music Records will introduce its first three artists—Maggie Harrelson, 15; Lynnox Poe, 15; and Ava Neiderhiser, 16—during a special listening party on September 27 hosted at High Dive HiFi Listening Lounge.

The event will celebrate the completion of original singles written and recorded by the three teenage artists. Each single will be released in October on Spotify, Apple Music and other major streaming platforms, but previewed first at the listening party for an intimate audience.

The artists have worked closely with Nashville producer Schylar Shoates, director of recording for Mason Music Records, to develop their songs and bring them from initial ideas to professionally produced recordings. Through the process, the students have gained firsthand experience in songwriting, studio recording, production and preparing music for commercial release.

“I didn’t think I would have my first record out at 16,” said Neiderhiser. “I put it on my vision board without expecting it to happen this year—and it did. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to kick-start my music career.”

“This program is about giving promising young artists a real pathway forward,” said Will Mason, owner of Mason Music. “There is an incredible amount of young talent in our community, but talented students need more than lessons—they need mentorship, professional opportunities and a chance to share their work with an audience. Mason Music Records was created to help bridge that gap.”

Parents have also seen the program accelerate their children’s growth as musicians and artists.

“I have seen Lynnox grow as much in three months working with Mason Music as I have in the last two years combined,” said Ami Poe, Lynnox Poe’s mother. “She is writing songs with new chords and in keys she has never tried before.”

The September 27 listening party will give guests an opportunity to hear the new singles before they are released, meet the artists and learn more about the creative process behind each release. The event also marks the beginning of Mason Music Records’ broader effort to develop an ongoing talent pipeline for emerging artists in the Southeast.

Admission is free, but attendance is limited to 75 guests. Advance RSVP is required.
