Learn to Blend – Paint Your Own Furniture Piece Class

Have a piece you’ve been wanting to transform but aren’t sure where to start? Bring it with you and spend the day learning professional blending techniques in this fun, hands-on, 4-hour workshop!

New Creations By Stacey will walk you through every step as you paint your own small furniture piece, mastering soft, elegant blends with beautiful depth and seamless color transitions. Whether you’re a complete beginner or you’ve painted before, you’ll leave with a finished project, new skills, and the confidence to create at home.

Classes are intentionally limited to ONLY 4 students to ensure everyone receives personalized, one-on-one coaching.

What You’ll Learn
How to properly clean, prep, and scuff-sand your furniture for maximum adhesion
Basic color theory to confidently choose colors that blend beautifully
Signature smooth blending techniques for seamless color transitions
Highlighting methods to create depth, dimension, and movement
How to protect your finish with a clear coat, plus tips for long-lasting durability
Demos: Additional shadowing techniques using waxes, and gilding wax to add metallic accents

What to Bring
Your Project: Please bring one small piece of furniture no larger than 26” W × 16” D × 29” H to ensure you can complete it within the 4-hour window.
Don’t have a piece? A variety of small furniture projects are available for purchase—just let Stacey know ahead of time!

Important Pre-Class Steps (After Booking)
Once you’ve secured your spot on the website, please coordinate the following details with via the instructor’s Facebook (New Creations By Stacey):

Choose Your Colors: Message your color choices at least 10 days before class to guarantee availability. (You are welcome to choose colors day-of, but specific shades cannot be guaranteed without advance reservation).
Send a Photo of Your Piece: Please send a photo at least one week before class. If your piece is laminate, slick/glass-like, or prone to tannin bleed-through, it will need to be primed beforehand. Unprimed pieces requiring primer may experience adhesion or bleed-through issues over time.
