Lawson State Community College Preview Day
Lawson State Community College is opening its doors for Preview Day on Saturday, April 11. This free event gives prospective students and their families a chance to visit campus, meet with admissions and financial aid staff, and learn about the college’s programs firsthand.
Preview Day is where everyone is welcome to explore—from high school graduates considering their options to working adults curious about earning a certificate, short-term credential, or finishing a degree. And there’s plenty for anyone interested in transferring credits toward a four-year degree. Staff will be available to walk attendees through the enrollment process and help them understand how to pay for college.
Lawson State offers more than 150 areas of concentration across two campuses in Jefferson County, including award-winning programs in nursing, automotive technology, welding, STEM, and more. The college also offers online and hybrid class formats for students who need flexibility.
