Kid One Transport Hosts Annual “Diamonds For Life Gala” to Raise Vital Program Funds

Kid One Transport will host the Diamonds for Life Gala, a charity gala set to take place on August 27, 2026 at The Club. The gala will feature a diamond giveaway generously donated by Bromberg’s Jewelers. This gala is Kid One’s largest annual fundraising event and aims to raise program funding to sustain crucial healthcare transportation services for children throughout Alabama.

With the challenge of rising gas and insurance costs, as well as increasing service demands, Diamonds for Life is an integral fundraising initiative for the 2027 service year. All funds raised will allow Kid One to continue serving nearly 2,000 families in need across the state. In addition to the diamond give-away, the gala will feature a VIP reception hour, silent auction, wine and whiskey pull, live music, line dancing, and dinner along with a program detailing Kid One’s mission and impact.

“Diamonds for Life is more than a fundraiser,” said Kaylie Rastegar, External Relations Coordinator at Kid One Transport. “It is also a way to celebrate our history as an organization and give back to the individuals and organizations who have supported us across our nearly 30 years of service to Alabama.”

In 2025, Kid One traveled over 433,000 miles and provided nearly 16,000 transports to medical and mental health appointments around the state.
