Huey’s Sandwich Co. Celebrates Grand Opening with Latte Art Throw down

Cash Prizes, Espresso Machine Giveaway, and Friendly Competition 

HOMEWOOD, Ala. — June 25, 2026 — In collaboration with Seeds Coffee, Huey’s Sandwich Co. is inviting the community to celebrate its grand opening with a Latte Art Throw down on Thursday, June 25, for an evening of creativity, competition, and community.

The event will take place at Seeds Coffee, with sign ups beginning at 6:00PM and pours starting at 7:00PM. Participants can enter the competition with a $5 buy-in, with cash prizes awarded to top competitors.

In addition to the throw down, attendees will have the opportunity to win a Fellow Series 1 Espresso Machine through a raffle. Raffle tickets will be 1 for $20 and 5 for $60.

Hosted in partnership with Seeds Coffee, the Latte Art Throw down aims to celebrate the local coffee community while marking an exciting new chapter for Huey’s Sandwich Co.

The event is open to both competitors and spectators. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, try the new menu, and cheer on participants as they compete for prizes.
