Alabama Waldorf School Announces Its 38th Annual Holiday Faire Children’s Festival
Birmingham, AL – December 4, 2025 – Alabama Waldorf School is delighted to welcome families, friends, and neighbors to its 38th Annual Holiday Faire, an event that has become a cherished Birmingham tradition for nearly four decades. This year’s celebration will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM at 5901 Crestwood Blvd. and will offer a full day of seasonal wonder for children and adults of all ages.
Holiday Faire brings the warmth, creativity, and community spirit of the season to life through hands-on children’s activities, live music, delicious homemade food, and opportunities to gather with friends. Families are invited to experience a joyful and whimsical day of imagination, connection, and celebration.
Event Highlights
This year’s Faire features familiar favorites and several newly envisioned activities crafted especially for our community:
Children’s Activities for All Ages
Guests will enjoy a wide variety of experiences, including:
Candle Making
Face Painting
Cookie Decorating
Hoop It Up Basketball Game
Caricature Portraits (Special rules apply; guests will receive guidance at check-in)
Holiday Hair (A Seuss-inspired styling experience; families bring a ziploc bag of accessories as their “ticket”)
Snow Globe Balloon Room for children under age 3, accompanied by a parent
Little Elves’ Store filled with handcrafted treasures made with care
Most activities require three tickets each, and children wearing a purple wristband may re-enter activity lines as many times as they wish; they will simply move to the back of the line after completing each turn. Holiday Hair does not accept tickets or wristbands.
Live Music & Performances
Local musicians will fill the festival with lively seasonal sounds, adding warmth and rhythm to the day.
Lunch, Coffee, and Baked Goods
Guests may enjoy a hearty lunch buffet, warm beverages, and a wide assortment of homemade baked treats prepared by our community.
Community Spirit
The Holiday Faire continues to be a gathering place for families across Birmingham—a moment to share the season’s joy, reconnect, and celebrate together.
