Great Fall Bird Count / Shoal Creek Park / Montevallo, AL ($)

Join Alabama Audubon at Shoal Creek Park for the Great Fall Bird Count, which invites birders of all skill levels to come out and see how many birds we can add to the park list for the morning. 
Shoal Creek Park is one of the few locations in the Birmingham metro area that has tracts of grassland and scrubland interspersed with the forest, so there are a variety of habitats to support a diverse array of bird species.
 Participants will join one of 3 – 4 small groups led by expert birders and naturalists that will travel around the park in search of birds for a couple of hours before reconvening at the pavilion to tally our total species.
