Field Trip to Trussville Cahaba River Greenway (Free!)

Join us to look for fall migrants along the greenway beside the Cahaba River in Trussville. We can expect to see species such as wrens, kinglets, woodpeckers, and chickadees. We will be watching along the water for Great Blue and Green herons and possible kingfishers. Scanning the skies we’ll look for hawks, vultures, and maybe even a passing Bald Eagle.
This is an easy walk that will meander near the Cahaba River near the Trussville Senior Center. We can expect a variety of Fall/Winter birds. Woodpeckers are plentiful, hawks are often sighted and many Fall/Winter birds are regulars. This walk will meander through an open area that leads to wooded paths.
