City Center Art (CCA) Studio art classes for young artists in grades 2 – 12, Fall semester 2025
City Center Art is Space One Eleven’s afterschool studio art program for students of all skill levels and is designed to build visual communication skills and foster creative thinking. Throughout the semester, young artists learn the elements of art and principles of design, strengthen foundation skills, and further their understanding of art criticism, art theory, and art history.
Teaching artists balance instruction between creating and responding—young artists make, discuss, and write about their work—thereby facilitating a transformative learning experience for young artists.
Through our scholarship application, art class fees are based on a sliding scale. As a result, families may qualify for free or reduced tuition through the generosity of foundations and private contributors.
Grades 2-3
Tuesdays, September 2 – December 16, 2025, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Grades 4-5
Mondays, September 8 – December 15, 2025, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Grades 6-8
Wednesdays, September 3 – December 10, 2025, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Grades 9-12
Saturdays, September 6 – December 13, 2025, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
