Celebrating Birdability Week / Riverchase Greenway / Hoover, AL (Free!)
Join Alabama Audubon in celebrating Birdability Week this year from October 20-26, 2025! This week-long event is dedicated to making birding accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability. Alabama Audubon Ambassadors Linda Neighbors and Marj Young will lead a small, wheelchair accessible outing for another celebration during Nature at Noon at the Riverchase Greenway in Hoover, AL. This location is a great suburban spot to find a good diversity of bird species as it has multiple habitat types, including the Cahaba River and its edges, a small wetland, and a grassland area.
