Celebrating Birdability Week / Gulf Coast Eco Center (Gulf Shores) (Free)
Join Alabama Audubon in celebrating Birdability Week this year from October 20-26, 2025! This week-long event is dedicated to making birding accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability. Our Coastal Team will lead a Big Sit during the morning at the Gulf Coast Eco Center from the Lookout Porch, which overlooks palmetto and pine scrub, a perfect place for staging migratory songbirds as migration nears the end.
Morning flight in this area can be very productive as warblers, thrushes, and vireos work their way through the area, fattening up for their journeys.
