Celebrating Birdability Week / Avondale Park / Birmingham, AL (Free!)
Join Alabama Audubon in celebrating Birdability Week this year from October 20 – 26, 2025! This week-long event is dedicated to making birding accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability. Executive Director Dr. Scot Duncan and Program Coordinator Andrew Lydeard will lead a small, wheelchair accessible outing for another celebration during Nature at Noon at Avondale Park in Birmingham.
We will travel as a group around the lake in search of birds, stopping at King’s Spring to scan the woods and edges, before making a full loop around the pond.
