Carnetta Davis on Collecting and the Shape of Roll Call

Join collector Carnetta Davis for an ArtBreak exploring works featured in Roll Call: Two Hundred Years of Black American Art through the lens of collecting and community. Davis will share her perspective on building a collection, collaborating with the Museum to expand representation, and the stories behind how landmark works such as Charles Ethan Porter’s Still Life with Fruit entered the Museum’s collection.
Please note that this ArtBreak will be held in the Roll Call exhibition, therefore the registration fee also provides entry into the exhibition.
Please note that members are limited to one transaction per event. For additional questions, please contact membership@artsbma.org or 205.254.2389.
