Cahaba River Coalition & Perry Lakes Park Work Day Clean Up
Join Alabama Audubon and Cahaba River Coalition on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Perry Lakes Park. ( AL-175, Marion, AL 36756). We’ll kick off the morning with litter pickup, trail clearing, and removing leaves and debris from built structures. Afterward, we’ll sort and weigh the collected litter before wrapping up with a picnic on Barton’s Beach. Cleanup supplies will be provided, including gloves, grabbers, and trash bags. Participants are encouraged to bring their own trail-clearing tools if available, such as clippers, blowers, brooms, rakes, or shovels.
