Alabama Disability Oral Health Advocacy Day

Join us on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. as we bring together disability organizations, dental professionals, self-advocates and policymakers to discuss the barriers faced in oral health for people with disabilities and propose solutions. The day will begin with a Health Expo from 9 – 10:30 a.m. with a variety of vendors, followed by a panel discussion featuring dental professionals and advocacy experts including Stephen C. Mitchell, DMD, MS; Jae Chul Lee, Ph.D; Phillip Crain, MPA; and Graham L. Sisson, Jr., JD, Ph.D. from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
