Alabama Audubon’s Fall Bird Count (our 61st!)
The Fall Bird Count (our 61st!) will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025. Our goal is to count as many bird species as possible by mustering as many parties as possible to cover as much of Jefferson, Shelby and St. Clair Counties as we can.
It’s an all-day affair, from before sunup to sundown, or as much time as people are able to devote to the count. Feel free to reach out to a party leader (if you have participated in past counts) to arrange to join them, or, you may contact our count compiler, Greg Harber (gharber@mindpsring.com mailto:gharber@mindpsring.com) for help in finding a party leader in your area.
