A Taste of INSPIRE
Get a taste of what’s next for Birmingham’s food entrepreneur community at A Taste of INSPIRE, a signature experience during Urban Impact Alumni Week 2026.
A Taste of INSPIRE brings together local food entrepreneurs, community partners, business resources, and supporters for an afternoon centered on food, entrepreneurship, business readiness, and community impact.
Guests will have the opportunity to sample featured menu items from local food entrepreneurs, discover emerging food concepts, connect with organizations and resources supporting small businesses, and learn more about the upcoming INSPIRE Culinary Incubator — Urban Impact’s shared commercial kitchen and culinary entrepreneurship initiative designed to help food businesses move from idea to operation and from operation to growth.
The event will also recognize participating entrepreneurs through the Business Readiness Award, Rising Star Award, and People’s Choice Award, highlighting businesses that demonstrate preparation, professionalism, growth potential, and connection with the community.

A Taste of INSPIRE is more than a tasting event. It is an opportunity to experience the people, businesses, and ideas helping shape the future of Birmingham’s food entrepreneurship community — while seeing how Urban Impact is building pathways for entrepreneurs to become more prepared, connected, and positioned for sustainable growth.
Tickets start at $10, plus applicable Eventbrite fees.
A Taste of INSPIRE is part of Urban Impact Alumni Week 2026, a week of programming designed to reconnect entrepreneurs with resources, increase visibility for local businesses, strengthen relationships, and celebrate entrepreneurship and community investment.
