TENGEN is the ever-evolving sound/art project of Joan Catherine Mills. Ethereal choirs and sonically enhanced words of affirmation steer a ship fueled with effects pedals and propelled by freakout guitar scenes, amid dreamy synthesized oceans crashing on the shores of islands made with heavy beats. TENGEN is a broad and continuously mutating soundscape that is freeform and wholly unique to each performance. Ranging in scope from soft and introspective to cavernous and extradimensional, every show is an aural experience that cannot be replicated and will never be domesticated.

Albums of material exist, but TENGEN must be seen to be truly heard.
