25th Annual LaVona Rushton Concert

The LaVona Rushton Concert Series is a prestigious celebration of classical music. Each year, this program showcases a world-renowned pianist, hand-picked in collaboration with the Cliburn, an organization dedicated to advancing classical music in competitions, concerts, and education. This year, the BMA is delighted to present Clayton Stephenson. 

American pianist Clayton Stephenson is celebrated for his expressive artistry, magnetic stage presence, and imaginative interpretations of the classical repertoire. A finalist at the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and recipient of the 2022 Gilmore Young Artist Award, he has performed at distinguished venues including Carnegie Hall and with leading orchestras throughout the United States and abroad. A graduate of Harvard University and the New England Conservatory, Stephenson is committed to expanding access to classical music and inspiring audiences through performances that are both technically brilliant and deeply engaging.
