New America’s Thrift Store coming to Eastwood Village shopping center

Good news for Depop girlies and secondhand shoppers in Birmingham—a new America’s Thrift Stores is coming soon to Birmingham’s Eastwood neighborhood! The Irondale-based chain of thrift stores is set to open a new location in the former Party City space at the Eastwood Village shopping center—read on to learn more.

New America’s Thrift Store coming to Eastwood Village

Founded in 1984, America’s Thrift Stores is a brand of thrift stores Known for its organized department-style layouts and daily turnover of new items—hence the tagline “Where it’s a new store every day.” The brand partners six charity partners across the five states it operates in (including Make-A-Wish Alabama) and operates 34 retail store locations across five southeastern states, including six locations in the Birmingham area:

Now, America’s Thrift Stores is opening a seventh Birmingham-area location in the Eastwood Village shopping center.

The addition of a new America’s Thrift Stores in Eastwood Village is exciting news for avid thrifters on the hunt for secondhand treasures on the east side of town. Located at at 1608 Montclair Rd—a space previously home to Party City—the new America’s Thrift Stores will be just minutes away from the Lovelady Thrift Store’s Irondale location (7720 Ludington Ln) as well as a new Alabama Goodwill, which opened at the Village East shopping center (7517 Crestwood Blvd) in April.
