Tucked away on Conroy Road, a classic Colonial Revival has gotten a thoughtful refresh that brings together the work of several Birmingham creatives. Sold by local real estate firm Ray & Poynor, the four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home was brought to life through the vision of interior designer Jeremy Clark and landscape and garden designers Zach Westall and Tim Essary.

From the outside, the home makes an impression with its white-brick exterior, large wooden front door and classic symmetry. Inside, though, it’s the mix of old and new that really makes the space feel special.
A grand staircase anchors the entryway, while sunny living spaces and a bright dining area keep things feeling open and inviting. Throughout the home, small moments of dark walnut-colored paint create cozy pockets and add a little drama without overwhelming the space.
“My vision was to honor the home’s history while allowing it to feel collected, comfortable, and alive.
I had the special opportunity to work on it twice—first with the previous owner during the renovation, and later with the current owners on the furnishings. Because both families are dear friends, it has been especially meaningful to watch the house evolve while preserving its character.
The result feels layered, timeless and deeply personal.”

The kitchen is another standout, with plenty of natural light, and gorgeous marble countertops and backsplash. It feels elevated but still like a place where you’d actually want to spend time.

Behind the historic Birmingham home, the backyard opens into a lush garden filled with greenery, native flowers and plenty of places to slow down.
A sunny wooden deck stretches into the yard before giving way to a shadier, more secluded garden space surrounded by tall ferns. Tucked among the greenery is a charming potting shed, adding another layer of personality to the landscape.
For Westall, the goal was never simply to create a pretty backyard. It was to make the landscape feel like a natural extension of the home.
