RPI Rentals doubles down on Birmingham with new 32,500-square-foot HQ

RPI Rentals has opened a new Birmingham headquarters, more than doubling the company’s previous space and setting it up for continued growth in the metro area.
The announcement of its construction came back in summer 2025. The new facility is located at 1802 John Rogers Drive in Irondale.
RPI Rentals’ Birmingham roots, Texas expansion
RPI Rentals provides construction equipment rentals and supplies to contractors, municipalities and businesses across the Southeast.
The company got its start in Birmingham and has since expanded into Texas, with additional offices in Austin and Houston.
RPI’s offerings include:
- Tower cranes and manned material hoists
- Material handling equipment
- Climate control systems
- Jobsite storage solutions
- Earth-moving equipment such as track loaders and excavators
- Concrete tools
- Elevated access equipment
- Safety and PPE gear
New Birmingham headquarters doubles equipment capacity
The new facility spans 32,500 square feet of office and warehouse space on 24 acres, complete with an equipment yard. The roughly $10 million project supports about 25 employees and gives RPI significantly more room for equipment, consumables and materials laydown.
The new location also puts RPI closer to major interstates throughout the Birmingham metro, making it easier to reach clients across the region.

Project partners on the new headquarters include Schoel Engineering and Goodgame Construction, with support from the Birmingham Construction Industry Authority and the Birmingham Business Alliance.
