Tonight, he plans to perform his recently-released song, “On My Hood.”
Here’s everything you need to know to support Pynk Beard tonight at 7PM while he sings his heart out on national television.
Who is Pynk Beard?

Pynk Beard was born Coleridge Tillman and grew up in Dolomite, a neighborhood in western Birmingham. He’s a 2000 graduate of Ramsay High School and studied music tech at the University of Alabama, graduating in 2004.
Before he was Pynk Beard, he wrote under the name Sebastian Kole, building a songwriting career that caught the attention of artists like:
- Alicia Keys
- John Legend
- Jennifer Lopez
- Usher
- Charlie Wilson
- Alessia Cara
He signed with Motown in 2012 and spent eight years there writing for other artists, including Cara.
By 2024, he’d recommitted to a longtime dream of writing and performing country music. He dyed his beard pink that September and adopted the Pynk Beard name, releasing an EP called “Red Dirt Diaries” in fall 2025 as an ode to Birmingham.
Tonight’s performance, he said, is part of a broader effort to spotlight Birmingham residents who’ve had to reroute their plans along the way, according to a Sept. 1 feature on Pynk Beard by the City of Birmingham.
“I’m still here. I’m still alive. It’s another day. I can try something new.”
