If you’ve been to Fresh Value in Trussville recently, you may have wondered why the shelves looked a little more empty than usual. Now we know: The store announced in a Facebook post that it will be closing.

Here’s the announcement Fresh Value shared on Facebook:

“STORE CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT, Trussville Fresh Value

After many years of serving the community, our Fresh Value Trussville location is closing. Select products are currently being liquidated while supplies last. Although this location is closing, our Fresh Value in Moody and Meat Depot in Huffman will remain open and ready to serve you with the same great value and friendly service.

To the Trussville community: Thank you for your loyalty, support, and years of patronage. It has truly been our privilege to serve you.”

While Fresh Value Trussville is closing, shoppers still have options nearby.
