New paint-your-own-pottery shop Busy Brush now open in Vestavia

Busy Brush Studio, a paint-your-own-pottery shop, officially opened its doors on Saturday, June 13, bringing a new creative and family-friendly space to the Vestavia Hills community.
Founded by local mom of two Tori Dill, the studio is designed to be a welcoming environment where community members can slow down, connect, and create. Dill owns the shop alongside her mother-in-law, Linda Dill, and Katy Helms.

How it works: pricing, pottery selection + kiln firing
The studio operates on an all-inclusive pricing model with no hidden per-person studio fees. Guests pay for the specific ceramic piece they choose to paint, which ranges from small ornaments to larger items like platters and vases. All paint, brushes, palettes and studio time are included.
Painters typically spend 45 minutes to two hours customizing their pieces. Once finished, the studio staff glazes and fires the pottery in an on-site kiln. Completed items are ready for pickup in approximately seven days and are fully food-, dishwasher-, and microwave-safe.
All skill levels are welcome — the experience requires no prior artistic background. Staff members are available to assist with techniques, layers, and re-working pieces.
Busy Brush Studio is a BYOB-friendly venue. Guests are welcome to bring:

The studio accommodates a wide range of gatherings, from causal afternoons to structured events. All ages are welcomed, as the studio offers both simple pieces for toddlers as well as 21+ paint nights.
