As previously reported by Bham Now and detailed in Alabaster City Council development agreements, The Shoppes at District 31 serves as the initial five-acre fronting phase of a larger $242 million, 75-acre “power-village” mixed-use master project.
This first phase is slated to feature up to 14 retailers and restaurants, according to city planning documents and verified tenant rosters, including high-profile national brands such as:
- CAVA
- Chipotle Mexican Grill
- First Watch
- Hollywood Feed
- Nothing Bundt Cakes
- Panera Bread
- Tropical Smoothie Cafe
- Aspen Dental
The installation of storefront signage marks a major construction milestone for the northwest quadrant of U.S. Highway 31 and Interstate 65 (Exit 238), transforming the site into a major regional shopping and dining destination.
