The fourth QuikTrip (QT) Travel Center in the Birmingham metro area has opened off Exit 166 on I-59 in Ashville.

Located at 37011 US Highway 231, the much-anticipated convenience and gas retailer with a regional cult-like following, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Currently there are more than 1,230 QTs in the U.S. with 320 in Texas and 183 operating in the state of Georgia. There are currently just 13 locations in Alabama.

Four QuikTrip locations in Birmingham Metro

The Birmingham-area QTs are each near interstate exits in following locations:

  • Calera (I-65)
  • Pell City (I-20)
  • Jasper (I-22)
  • Ashville (I-59)

There are an additional 9 stores throughout the state. A relative newcomer to Alabama, the first QT opened in 2022 outside of Tuscaloosa.
