Pride Month is officially here, Birmingham!
All month long, the LGBTQ+ community and allies are coming together to celebrate love, identity and inclusion across The Magic City. Between parades and live music to drag performances, bowling, skating and more, there are plenty of ways to celebrate Pride in Birmingham this June—read on for the highlights.
1. Pride Interfaith Service | June 4
- What: Hosted by the Interfaith Alliance of Central Alabama and Central Alabama Pride, this special evening will bring together people of all faiths, backgrounds, and identities to honor the power of love and unity during Pride Month.

2. Central Alabama Pride presents “Bham Punk Pride” | June 5
- What: This June, Central Alabama Pride is turning up the volume with Birmingham’s first official all-ages Punk Pride show. Join us for Bham Punk Pride for a night of live music, community, and unapologetic self-expression featuring local punk and DIY artists with LGBTQIA+ representation in every act. Live music featuring Domesticatrix & the Replicants, Xeroed, Tengen + Wax/Fur.

3. Funky Food Truck Festival | June 6
- What: Savor delicious eats from some of the area’s best food trucks, enjoy funky live entertainment and relax on the patio with your favorite Cahaba brew—all proceeds benefit AIDS Alabama’s mission

4. Send Dudes | June 7
- What: Let’s hear it for the drag kings! Head to The Nick for a drag show of epic proportions hosted by Twhat Weiland and Stevie Phoenix.

4. Pride Skate Night | June 9
- What: Come glide into a night of fun, inclusivity, and celebration at Pride Skate Night! Head to Skates 280 for an unforgettable evening where skating is FREE! Donations are accepted + benefit other Pride month events.

5. Pride Idol | June 10
- What: Think you’ve got what it takes to be a star? Pride Idol is back and louder than ever! The winner gets the ultimate spotlight, opening for the headliners at Pridefest on June 14 in Linn Park before hundreds of fans and a $300 prize.

6. Pride Glow Bowling | June 11
- What: Head to Vestavia Bowl for a night of cosmic fun and pride-filled energy! For just $20, enjoy unlimited bowling and complimentary shoe rental under the glow of the black lights. Grab your crew, wear your brightest colors and let’s roll into the night.

7. Pride Drag Brunch with Raja | June 13
- What: Get ready to kick off Pride weekend in style at one of the most iconic events of the year: the Pride Parade Drag Brunch! Fan-favorite queen Raja Gemini from RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars will be dazzling the stage this June with a show you won’t want to miss.

8. 2026 Central Alabama Pride Parade | June 13
- What: The 2026 Central Alabama Pride Parade is back and brighter than ever! Head to Lakeview on Saturday, June 13 at 8PM as local organizations, businesses and community groups come together for a dazzling display of Pride. Expect music, dancing and nonstop fun from start to finish! This event is family-friendly and open to all ages, so bring your friends, your flags and your fiercest fits.

- Group check-in begins at 4PM
- All groups must check in by 7PM
- Parade steps off at 8PM (or at dark)
- Where: Begins at the corner of 30th Street South and 7th Avenue South, travels through Lakeview + ends at 22nd Street South

9. Pridefest 2026 presented by Central Alabama Pride | June 14
- What: This pride celebration features vendors, food, community organizations and performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race stars including Morphine Love Dion, The Widow Von’Du, Hormona Lisa, Mystique Summers, Salina Estitties and Indiah Ferrah. Gates open at 11AM and the best part? It’s FREE and open to everyone! Bring your friends and family and get ready to dance.
