Alabama’s first Pickleball Kingdom coming to Homewood

Pickleball Kingdom, one of the fastest growing national indoor pickleball companies in the U.S., is opening its first Alabama location in Homewood on June 13th.
The new indoor 40,000 square foot pickleball spot will be located at the former Conn’s HomePlus store within Wildwood Centre at 251 Lakeshore Parkway.

According to the local owners of the Pickleball Kingdom in Homewood, the PB Vision technology is a game-changer.
In addition to recording highlights the program provides performance insights to help players improve and analyzes movement and shot selection.

Pickleball coninues to grow
An estimated 36.5 million Americans played pickleball last year, and participation has grown more than 300% since 2021, according to the USA Pickleball Annual Growth Report.
Pickleball Kingdom presently has over 40 locations and has awarded 400 franchises globally.
This is the third indoor Pickleball facility to open in the Birmingham Metro area in little over a year.
In March, Picklr opened in Vestavia Hills in March 2025. This spring, 24/7 pickleball facility called Armory Square Pickleball was launched on Crestwood Boulevard.
