Expect municipal and state offices to be closed Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, unless otherwise noted. This includes libraries and courts.

Vital services such as police, fire and 911 will still operate.

Most cities, including but not limited to Birmingham, Hoover and Mountain Brook, will move back trash pickup by one day that week due to the holiday.
