A Birmingham husband-wife duo is opening “an elevated event venue to celebrate moments big and small” downtown, with a soft launch planned for Sunday, April 19.

The Collective on 4th is located in the heart of Birmingham at 2025 4th Avenue North. Owned by Brian and Branika Pride, the goal of the new space is “creating elevated occasions that are out of this world but not out of reach,” according to a release.

“I wanted a space where people can celebrate big moments, whether it’s a wedding, a birthday celebration, a corporate gathering, prom sendoff or something intimate and still have that ‘this feels special’ type of energy. With Brian’s photography background, everything at The Collective on 4th is created with stunning visuals and unforgettable memories in mind.”

The Collective on 4th will perform standard event planning services, but it will also offer:

Some events are already on the books, and The Collective on 4th is hosting a few public events in the coming months:

Soft Opening on Sunday, April 19 — guests will be able to tour the space
Small Business Alumni Network Mixer on Wednesday, May 6 —Prosper’s mixer in partnership with Network Navigator Day
Bloom and Bubbly Mother’s Day Experience on Saturday, May 9 — purchase tickets on the venue website
