Specialized industrial company celebrates new Bessemer manufacturing facility

MAPREMEC, a Mexico-based automotive, aerospace and electronics industrial company, celebrated its first year of operations and cut the ribbon on a brand new manufacturing facility in Bessemer.

The Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) hosted the event, which recognized the company’s expanding global footprint.

Founded more than 10 years ago, the headquarters for MAPREMEC (Maquinados de Precisión Mecánica del Bajío) are located in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.

In order to localize service to American clients, the U.S. subsidiary based in Bessemer, MAPREMEC USA, opened about one year ago.

“MAPREMEC continues expanding its global footprint with the official opening of our new facility in Alabama, USA.
