Nestled in Mountain Brook down the street from Birmingham Botanical Gardens and the Birmingham Zoo, this boutique hotel is known for its upscale atmosphere, art-filled interiors and one of the best rooftop spots in the Birmingham area.

  • Valet: Pull under the main entrance arch off Lane Parke Road for complimentary valet service 
  • Self-parking: Limited street parking is available along Lane Parke and nearby side streets—just be mindful of posted time limits
• How to get to the rooftop:
  • Enter through the hotel’s main lobby or courtyard/pavilion area
  • Look for the elevators inside the hotel
  • Take the elevator up to the rooftop level (Habitat Feed & Social)
  • From there, follow signage to the rooftop bar + terrace

Spring events at Grand Bohemian Mountain Brook

Master’s Week | April 9–12

If you love golf season for the sport and the snacks, this one’s for you. During Master’s Week, the Grand Bohemian is bringing a taste of Augusta to Mountain Brook with themed cocktails, classic bites and a little friendly competition.

What to expect:

• Signature cocktails like Azalea, John Daly + Transfusion
• $5 egg salad + pimento cheese sandwiches (as is tradition!)
• Mini rooftop putt-putt competition with prizes
• Daily beer features

Rooftop Spirit Tastings | April 16 (+ every 2nd Thursday!)

Looking for a new go-to happy hour? This monthly series is a great excuse to mix things up. Kicking off on April 16 and continuing every second Thursday of the month, these rooftop tastings spotlight a new spirit each time—starting with gin. It’s perfect for after-work plans, a casual night out with friends or date night.

What to expect:

• Featured spirit tastings (In April, get ready for a gin focused night)
• Live music + good company

• When: Monthly (second Thursdays), 4–6PM

Derby Day Watch Party | May 2

Break out your best Derby attire and head to the rooftop bar for a festive watch party. Partnering with Jill Calhoun of United Distribution, this event brings all the classic Kentucky Derby flair, right down to the glassware.

What to expect:

• Mint Juleps served in traditional glassware
• Kentucky Mules in copper mugs
• Derby viewing party atmosphere
