After 21 years, Satterfield’s Restaurant in Vestavia Hills is closing on April 18th.

The beloved fine dining establishment, known for Becky’s Beignets with warm cinnamon apples and vanilla ice cream, announced its departure from The Magic City culinary scene Friday night on social media.

Below is the announcement.

A “Birmingham Original” — owner Becky Satterfield — was named in 2018 the best female chef in Alabama by USA Today.

The restaurant also won Vestavia Magazine’s “Best Date Night Restaurant.”
