It’s the start of a big weekend in Birmingham for sports. Monster trucks, race cars, glow-in-the-dark baseball and more are in the Magic City today, March 27 through Sunday, March 29—and we get a front-row seat!

1. Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix

The sports weekend is kicking off in Birmingham with the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix. The annual event boasts high-octane racing, plus fan experiences and food—what more could you ask for?

2. Cosmic Baseball

A glow-in-the-dark twist on baseball is in Birmingham this Friday and Saturday.
Our Birmingham Barons are turning Regions Field into a neon-lit, high-energy game of Cosmic Baseball. Expect lights, music and an “out of this world” game with:
- Black lights
- Lasers
- Pregame activities
- Fan challenges
- 7th inning rave
- Home run derby

3. Birmingham Stallions watch party

While the Stallions aren’t in Birmingham this weekend, we can still cheer them on! The Fennec is hosting a watch party for their game against the Louisville Kings tonight at 7PM.

4. Monster Jam

Truckloads of dirt filled Protective Stadium for one reason: Monster Jam. With big trucks, big noise and big excitement, the action-packed performance brings fan favorites like Grave Digger and Megalodon that will have you on the edge of your seat.
