US-280 lane closures: Cahaba River bridge inspection on March 26

From 9AM to 12:30PM on Thursday, March 26, eastbound lanes on Highway 280 will be temporarily closed for a bridge inspection.
Closures will occur briefly, one lane at a time, so traffic will not be completely blocked on US-280 East.
The bridge over Cahaba River is located next to Grandview Medical Center and before the right turn to Target.
The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists:
- Use alternate routes
- Adjust arrival and departure times
- Observe modified work zone speed limits
- Use extreme caution in this area
