New River Bank branch now open in Vestavia Hills

The Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of a new River Bank & Trust branch Thursday, March 19, marking the first Birmingham-area location for the Alabama-based bank.
Located at 1100 Montgomery Highway, the opening of the bank’s new Birmingham region headquarters represents a relocation from its previous temporary location at 425 Montgomery Highway in Park South Plaza, according to an article published by River Bank in Yellowhammer News.
The new location is a 11,000-square-foot facility renovated from a former CVS Pharmacy building.
The new Vestavia Hills location is the 24th branch of River Bank. Its first non-Alabama branch, located in Destin, Florida, will open soon.
River Bank was founded in 2006, when its first locations were opened in Prattville, Montgomery and Wetumpka. Today, it is Alabama’s number-one community bank by asset size and the third-largest bank headquartered in the state, according to River Bank & Trust.
