Remnant Coffee now open in Leeds
Reading time: 2 minutes

Great news for Leeds: A brand new coffee shop is finally open!
Remnant Coffee, which started as a traveling coffee trailer, has taken the next step in its business in becoming a brick-and-mortar shop, offering patrons a place to socialize, work or relax.
Owner Jordan Parkman shared his gratitude for the turnout at the shop’s Saturday, March 21 opening and support from the City of Leeds:
“You all showed up and gave us nothing but love and support. I started a coffee shop to provide a place where coffee can be the vehicle that lets people know they are valued and to build community. That started this Saturday. 💚 We saw families come together, friends reuniting, and strangers meeting. We also made SO much coffee. 😉
“…I could thank dozens of others, but most importantly I thank you, Leeds! It is truly the greatest city with the greatest people. I am proud to have a business in Leeds, Alabama! There is no place like it.”

Parkman and his staff shared photos and videos from the renovation and preparation processes, giving locals an inside look into their upcoming third space.
The goal of the design was to make it perfect for connection, community and coffee, Remnant shared on Instagram.

“We have been working with local creatives, artists and merchants to craft a space for Leeds. My biggest intention when you walk in is to feel seen, valued, and loved, wether it is though a comforting cup of coffee, a smile or a good conversation, this place is for you!”

As far as the products go, Remnant offers a variety of coffees, ranging from classics like cortados and cappuccinos to signature drinks, including the “Golden Hour Latte” and “Chocolate Orange Mocha.”
The shop is open until 6PM every night it’s open, so there is ample opportunity to visit with friends or get a post-school study session in.
