The announcement of the new spot at 1430 Gadsden Highway was revealed March 23 by the Trussville Tribune after Mayor Ben Short posted a riddle on Facebook about the new eatery.

Trussville mayor’s second riddle

This is the second time the new mayor has teased his constituents about a new popular business setting up shop in the fast-growing town. In February, Mayor Short dropped clues on social media about the new Raising Cane franchise and a Home 2 Suites by Hilton.

Presently, there is no word about when the Einstein Bagels Trussville location will open. The popular chain established its first two locations in the Birmingham-area in early 2026.
