Henrietta’s Deli is moving—here’s its new home in Trussville
Reading time: 2 minutes

Good news for sandwich lovers: Henrietta’s Deli has a new home on Main Street in the Trussville Entertainment District (TED).
Don’t worry—it’s not going far. The popular eatery is only moving about 300 steps from its original space to the former Con Huevos building by The Three Earred Rabbit.
Here’s what to know about the new space.
Why the relocation?

We caught up with restaurant owner John Finney, who told us the move comes down to one thing: location.
Henrietta’s previous spot was tucked inside the former Golden Corral building just before the train tracks.
Sure, it was a convenient place to grab a sandwich if you were stuck waiting on a train, but the hidden location made it harder to attract new customers.
“The Con Huevos building is right there for everyone to see on Main Street. Plus, it’s already set up for some of the new things we’ll be doing.”
John Finney, owner, Henrietta’s Deli
What to expect at the new location

The restaurant will continue serving breakfast and lunch daily from 8AM–2PM, along with serving sandwiches, salads and more that locals already love (if you haven’t tried their bacon, I suggest you visit immediately!).
Popular sandwiches include:
- Chopped Cheese
- Italian
- Prime beef
- Reuben
The new location will also open the door to some expanded dinner items. Finney said guests may see dishes like:
- Beef carpaccio
- Bone marrow
- Gulf Fish
- Venison
When will Henrietta’s Deli reopen in Trussville?

Opening day could come as soon as Saturday, March 14, according to Finney—opening final permits and health department approval.
Before heading over, keep an eye on Henrietta’s Facebook page for official opening updates.
In the meantime, Trussville locals can start plotting their next sandwich run to the new location just steps away.
