Auburn defensive lineman and former AH Parker High standout Jourdin Crawford has opened a new community resource center in the former Modern House Coffee House in North Titusville.

About The Greedy House

Located at 422 6th Avenue South near Memorial Park, the new center is called The Greedy House and was created by Jourdin Crawford using funding from his NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) earnings.

“Seeing young leaders like Jourdin Crawford pour back into the same community that raised them is incredibly inspiring. Through ‘The Greedy House,’ he is using his platform not just for personal success, but to create opportunities and safe spaces for our children to learn, grow, and be supported.

Investments in mentorship, education, and mental health for our youngest students make a lasting impact on families and the future of our city. I’m proud to see a hometown athlete leading the way in giving back and uplifting the next generation.”

Crystal Smitherman, Birmingham City Councilor

Within The Greedy House, Crawford and his team have developed several community resource programs, including:

  • The Essentials Room — A program that will support students with food, school supplies, clothes and hygiene products
  • Community Pantry — Family-focused food initiative program
  • Athletic access and development — A mentoring program for local athletes
  • Life skills and education empowerment program — Educational initiatives focused on literacy and entrepreneurship

“Jourdin absolutely loves kids. He’s always tried to find a way to give back. His slogan Greedy House isn’t related to an appetite or food or hunger. It’s a hunger for impact, change and purpose. It reminds you of that place, an aunt’s house or a grandma’s house, you can always go to and everybody’s welcome.”

Patsy Crawford, Jourdin’s mom

Want to support Crawford’s efforts? The Greedy House accepts donations on Thursdays from 1PM to 5PM. Acceptable donations include:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Hygiene products
  • School supports
  • New and clean, gently-used clothing

Smaller daily after-hours donations can be made at a secured drop box on the front porch. Crawford asks that donors DM on Instagram when they are coming.
