Next year, the Homewood Patriots Marching Band will make history as the first-ever American marching band to participate in Corso Zundert—the world’s largest flower parade, held annually in the Netherlands.
About Corso Zundert

Founded in Zundert, Netherlands, Bloemencorso Zundert (Corso Zundert) dates back to 1936 and has since grown into the world’s largest flower parade. Held on the first Sunday of September every year, Corso Zundert draws tens of thousands of spectators to the Dutch town to see 20 massive, sculptural floats, completely covered in dahlia blooms. Each of the festival’s floats is created by residents of the twenty participating hamlets.

Although the Corso Zundert regularly features marching bands from across Europe, 2027 will mark the first year that the parade features a marching band from the United States—and who better to represent the country than the storied Homewood Patriot Marching Band?
The local marching band has previously appeared at several national and international events, including:
- The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade
- The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
- The London Lord Mayor’s Parade
- The Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Don’t miss the Homewood Patriot Marching Band at the Corso Zundert flower parade on Sept. 5, 2027.
