For nearly 140 years, the BBA has been cheering on businesses across the region, helping them grow, connect and succeed. Founded in 1887 as the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, the organization focuses on building relationships, advocating for business interests and opening doors to new opportunities—big and small.

Today, the BBA supports nearly 550 member businesses, nonprofits and corporations, with small businesses making up a significant portion of its network.
