Legendary Kathy G & Company to reopen Birmingham Museum of Art café

The Birmingham Museum of Art (BMA) is reopening its museum café with one of Birmingham’s most popular caterers and restaurateurs. 

Kathy G & Company, will officially open Café BMA to the public on February 11th, with a soft opening on February 4 and 6.

“Café BMA is about creating food that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and connected to the experience of being in the museum. It’s an honor to be part of the BMA and to contribute to how visitors gather and enjoy their time here.”

Café BMA will offer lunch service on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11AM to 2PM.

Some of the menu items include:

  • Cedar Plank Salmon
  • Chicken & Crepes
  • Quiche du Jour
  • Café BMA Traditional Chicken Salad Plate
  • Pan Seared Herbed Chicken “Nicoise” Salad
  • Angus Beef 8oz. Burger
  • And starters and entrees for kids

In addition to managing Café BMA, Kathy G. now serves as the on-site caterer for the Birmingham Museum of Art, overseeing food service for museum programs, events, and private functions.
