Let’s get a round of applause for Birmingham’s Coca-Cola Amphitheater! The brand-new outdoor music venue was just nominated for “New Concert Venue of the Year” by entertainment and live music publication Pollstar.

Since its grand opening in June 2025, the Coca-Cola Amphitheater has quickly become a crowd-pleaser, drawing both local fans and enthusiasts from around the region. Located at 2350 15th Ave N in Birmingham’s Druid Hills neighborhood on the former Carraway Hospital campus, the state-of-the-art outdoor venue has already hosted dozens of high-profile artists in its inaugural season, including:

  • Def Leppard with Poison
  • Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit
  • Whiskey Myers
  • Alabama Shakes
  • James Taylor
  • Rod Stewart
  • Leon Bridges and Charlie Crockett
  • Pierce the Veil
  • And many more

For anyone who’s attended a show at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater, the national recognition from Pollstar comes as no surprise. The Coca-Cola Amphitheater team shared the announcement on social media, stating:

“Honored to be nominated as one of Pollstar’s New Concert Venue of the Year. 🤩 We’re grateful to our fans, artists, crew members, and the city that welcomed us for an incredible first season, and we’re excited for the year ahead. See you soon! 🎵 ❤️ 🎤”

According to Pollstar, the New Concert Venue of the Year recognizes a venue that, in its first year of operation, “became an immediate factor through superior programming, effective promotion and marketing, quality production values and staff, an exemplary experience for fans and artists, and consistent boxoffice success.”
