Located in Pepper Place at 2924 3rd Avenue South, Hop City Beer & Wine is a must-stop destination for customers on the hunt for hard-to-find IPAs, ales, porters and more. Founded in Atlanta in 2009, Hop City currently operates three locations in Georgia as well as one in here in Birmingham, where it stocks more than 1,200 varieties of craft and imported beer, 66 constantly rotating beers on draft, 20 wine taps and a full bar with craft cocktails and a patio.
For the fifth year in a row, Hop City Beer & Wine Birmingham has officially been nominated for the USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards contest. Hop City—along with 19 other beer bars around the country—was nominated for the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards by a panel of beer experts for its:
- Stellar selection of draft, bottled and canned beers
- Relaxed atmosphere
- Knowledgeable bar staff
Currently, Hop City Beer & Wine Birmingham is ranked no. 2 out of 20 on the leaderboard.
