Due to icy conditions in Oxford, Mississippi, the 5th ranked Vanderbilt Commodores  women’s basketball team will take on SEC foe, the #17 Ole Miss Rebels on Friday, January 30, 2:00PM at Legacy Arena. Admission is free.

If you enjoyed last year’s NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games last spring, you are in for a treat.

Legion FC v. Nashville SC – postponed

On the other hand, it is one thing to watch basketball in a cozy Legacy Arena, but playing soccer in temps in the 20s is outright dangerous.

As a result, the exhibition game between Birmingham Legion FC and Nashville SC from Major League Soccer on Saturday afternoon is postponed.

“The safety of our fans, players, and staff remains our top priority. After careful consideration, the club determined that postponing the match was the most appropriate decision.”

Nick Hall. Legion FC Club President

According to Legion FC, they are working with Nashville SC to finalize a new date for a rescheduled match.

What are your plans this weekend? Here are 19 additional indoor fun and exciting events, including two Birmingham Bulls home games between January 30-February 1.
