Pollstar, the leading trade publication for the concert and live entertainment industry, released its annual year-end rankings highlighting the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) as a global multi-venue powerhouse.

Here is how the BJCC and several of its venues—the BJCC Concert Hall, Legacy Arena, and Coca-Cola Amphitheater—fared in 2025, according to Pollstar:

  • The BJCC Concert Hall grossed nearly $16 million, ranking No. 39 worldwide and No. 30 in the U.S. in the theatre category.
  • Legacy Arena grossed nearly $19.5 million, which ranked No. 100 in the world and No. 55 in the U.S.
  • Legacy Arena ticket sales approached 240,000, ranked No. 101 worldwide and No. 52 in the U.S.
  • Coca-Cola Amphitheater, managed by Live Nation for the BJCC, sold-out 15 performances in 2025—its debut season.

“These rankings reflect the strength of Birmingham’s live entertainment market and the BJCC’s ability to compete on a global stage. Our venues continued to attract strong audiences and high-quality content. That success drives tourism, support local businesses, and contributes to the economic and cultural vitality of our region.”

Tad Snider, CEO of the BJCC

Last year, BJCC venues hosted numerous memorable events including:

  • The Greatest Show on Earth presented by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey
  • Wicked
  • YouTube stars Dude Perfect
  • Comedian Shane Gillis
  • Musical Acts like Alison Krauss & Union Station, Forrest Frank, Brandon Lake, hip-hop pioneer Jeezy and Chris Brown
  • SEC Gymnastics Championship, NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional and Monster Jam
