New Chase Bank branch now open in Mountain Brook Village

Chase Bank’s newest location is now open, giving the Birmingham area a total of seven branches.

The latest location is at 2629 Cahaba Road, a property formerly home to local real estate firm Ray & Poynor. In 2022, the firm’s building caught fire overnight and suffered catastrophic damage.

Mountain Brook’s Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for the new location Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 11AM.

The national bank is also expanding in the state at large. Chase recently opened its first branch in the Florence/Muscle Shoals area and another in Huntsville, AL.com reported last month.

Last February, Chase announced that it plans to triple the number of Alabama branches by 2030. Its first Alabama branch was opened in 2019 near Auburn University.
